My name is Wendy Sanchez and I am the President of the famous WILD Club! Everyone pretty much said all the important stuff that had to be said but ill just say a few things. In 2009, my boss here at DeVry Universtiy talked to me about the WILD Club, and encouraged me to take it over, i honestly had no idea, since this club had been inactive for the longest time, and i had never been part of it, i honestly had no idea what WILD was. I got explained a little bit about it, and i looked on the folders and saw some of their past events, so i decided to go ahead and take over the club. I had nobody in the beginning only Lala (Laura Loarca) our Vice-President now, and i encouraged Olga Rosiles to be the Vice-President and Lala to be Secretary, so there we were new to this but together we worked to start it up, clueless but there we were. We slowly started being in every event on campus, volunteering, making events, fundraiser, charity events, etc. We slowly climbed ourselves up, Olga graduated but there where plenty of people interested so since then we have been slowly taking over DeVry and showing leadership to our peers. Now our group is pretty big which i am happy about. What people also have to see is that WILD is not only club, but to many of us a family :)
